Measure and Grow Attainment is a suite of new curriculum aligned digital assessments designed to measure understanding and progression of learners in Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. We are piloting brand new tests in reading and maths for Year 5 to Year 8 learners.

Assessment Research is Critical

Research plays a vital role in ensuring that the data we gather is valid, reliable and meaningful. Without careful trialling and analysis, assessments misrepresent what learners know and can do. Poorly designed tests often include tasks that are too easy, too hard, or fail to reflect the breadth of the curriculum. Through rigorous trialling and analysis of trial data, we can fine-tune assessments to avoid these issues, helping ensure that every test offers a fair, accurate and useful picture of learning.
